Bill did it again, but then it seems he always does. I went out yesterday to start turning a cigar pen that I had cut, drilled, and glued up on Friday. I had gotten 4 ready for turning this weekend, and had already turned and finished one in acrylic. The one I started on next was from a blank of Amboyna Burl I had purchased over a year ago from Bill Baumbeck at Arizona Silhouette and managed to forget about. Or it may have been that with Amboyna Burl, I was just too intimidated by its incredible figure to risk making a pen that was not worthy of the beauty of the wood.

Welcome to the Penpoint. I am going to try and make some regular posts here to let folks know what I am getting done. Hopefully it will serve to keep me motivated and active working in the shop to make new and interesting pens to post about.
